Freaky thing happened the other night.

It was late, well past midnight. I was in bed, reading, when I heard a strange sound. I couldn’t identify it at all, so I got up and made sure all the doors were locked. Then I returned to reading.

A little later, I heard it again! This time I stayed in my room. I figured that whatever it was, it had to be coming from the outside. The window beside my bed was closed & locked, so nothing could get in that way. Right?

Just as I was about to turn in, I heard a weird hissing screaming crying sound! And it was RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW! AAAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

The ghastly sound repeated a few more times. I got a flashlight, shone it through the window, and pair of GLOWING GREEN EYES stared back at me! OMG!!

Then I realized that it was the neighbor’s cat. The stupid feline no doubt saw the light on in my room, and — mistakenly thinking that it was looking at its own house — started making those hissy-screamy sounds in order to attract attention.

I turned off my light and waited until the dumb cat wandered off. Woo!!
