Science, Art, and Coffee

I’m not a gamer or anything, but I heard about this new video game called Rainbow Six: Vegas on the news — apparently, the mayor of Las Vegas and the metro police aren’t too pleased with it, claiming that it gives the city a bad name. I say, what??? How can a game in which you try to kill off terrorists do anything of the sort? I mean, the city is just the backdrop; it could easily be Chicago or Boston or LA. And the game’s graphics look very cool, especially the views of the Strip. Why, it might even encourage some people to visit Las Vegas!

I think the mayor ought to get his head out of where the sun don’t shine!
