So you’ve seen those stupid Apple Macintosh commercials, with the slacker dude representing the Mac and the businessman as a PC, and the slacker-Mac being all smarmy about how (allegedly) superior he is.

Well, BOOLSHYT, I say!

The ad is false and misleading because it isn’t a fair comparison. While Macs are solely made by Apple, there are a myriad of PC manufacturers. Some of them run Windows flawlessly right out of the box, while others do poorly. But regardless, claiming that Macs are better than PCs is like Coke saying it’s better than “soda”. Whaa? Unless Apple picks a specific vendor to pick on (like, say, Dell), the commercials are utter bogosity!
